Today, it is extremely difficult to try and influence someone to convert or allow God to work through you to do so. It’s extremely difficult to even TALK to another person about God, let alone change their beliefs! Sometimes we believe it isn’t out duty to expand the church, but the duty of those who are ‘higher up’, those who publicly speak, those who have the right words.

WRONG.

It is the duty of everyone. Do not be afraid to be outright with your faith, to stir up controversy. Getting people to talk about it, even if they don’t believe is the first step of evangelization. Be a good example of a Christian, but not only on your social networking. Do it in your socializing. Do it with your family. Do it with your friends.

Back in the day, the apostles’ numbers were few. God empowered them to perform acts and speak with the Spirit because that’s what they had to do. Now, with over 1.18 billion Catholics and 33% Christians total, it isn’t as necessary to carry out miracles to get people to believe. We just need to believe that we have favor with the Lord

and go.
